Club Conex FAZ-FIT Hosel/Shaft Connectors
The golf industry's only "Quick Change" universal fitting adapter!
First seen back-stage at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show, these revolutionary new interchangeable shaft connectors will change the way you fit your customers forever, AND may change how you decide what club you will play on any given day!
Club Conex FAZ-FIT connectors enable you to quickly fit heads and shafts together for testing, and then take that combination out onto the golf course for play! With only a few connectors and your favorite heads and shafts, you will have a nearly unlimited selection of demo clubs!
The FAZ-FIT system offers you complete interchangeability between heads and shafts with .335 and .350 hosels once you have mounted the correct size adapter on each club head and shaft. The .370 connectors will not mate with the .350 or .335 connectors.
With Club Conex FAZ-FIT connectors, you will experience more accurate club fitting. This guarantees that all fitting decisions will be based upon factual data, versus an educated professional hypothesis.
With Club Conex connectors you can create a professional fitting system without the need to purchase the additional components needed to offer all of the most popular loft and shaft flex variables in discrete custom built clubs.
FAZ-FIT connectors are designed to provide clubmaker’s with an affordable, professional fitting system using YOUR favorite club heads and shafts - not just those supplied by the major OEMs and their fitting carts.
The FAZ-FIT connector pair weighs only 8g and one model works with both right handed and left handed heads.
FAZ-FIT connectors epoxy securely into the head and onto your shaft, and when the connectors lock together with the unique hexagonal fitting pin, there is no twisting of the head or shaft on impact. You operate the system with the sleeve finger tight while testing different head and shaft combinations, and then when you are ready to play the shaft and club on the course, simply tighten the connector down with the installation tool and you are as secure as if the shaft were epoxied directly into the head.
Is it a little windy today? Would you like to hit the ball a little lower? Want more control today with a shorter shaft? How about more distance with a longer, softer shaft? Try out several of your alternative shafts in your favorite driver head on the driving range before your round, then install the shaft that gives you the most control before your round - tighten it down with our installation tool and go play golf!
It's like having a large selection of drivers to choose from, every day you play golf. Don't know which golf swing is going to show up on the first tee? That's OK. Try out different combinations on the range and use the one that fits you best today for a fraction of the cost of multiple assembled drivers.
The 2008 Club Conex FAZ-FIT connectors solve all of the problems reported with earlier versions of the Future Fit and Future Fit II Pro connectors - providing a new design and unique assembly process that will make your fitting easier, and allow you or your customers to take their final head and shaft combination right out onto the golf course.
FAZ-FIT connectors are not suggested for use in oversize hosels. Under no circumstances should you shim a hosel adapter to fit in an inside diameter larger than one of our offerings directly supports.
PLEASE NOTE You will want to Download a PDF document with FAZ-FIT Tips and Installation Instructions.
Replacement nuts are also available as a separate product.
These products are sold in INDIVIDUAL PIECES NOT as a SET. Generally you will use multiple shafts with one head or multiple heads with one shaft and so we do NOT sell these as a pair, we offer them separately.
Please Note: FAZ-FIT connectors tightened down without the Club Conex FAX-FIT wrench will not be covered under warranty.
Please Note. On July 31st, 2008 the USGA deemed the FAZ-FIT connectors non-conforming for USGA sanctioned events. We find this position unreasonable and have joined a chorus of complaints against the USGA - who have authorized similar systems from several major OEM while at the same time denying the FAZ-FIT system conformance. We would encourage you to contact the USGA and lodge your complaints as well. You can read the letter sent out by Eric Burch, the President of Club Conex at the following link in PDF format.
The FAZ-FIT connectors CAN be used on the course if you take one additional step so they conform under the Rules of Golf. You need to lock down the connectors so they cannot be taken apart with just the wrench. That can be done using a drop of Loctite or other semi-permanent adhesive, as long as the connectors cannot be separated with the wrench without also the addition of heat to break down the semi-permanent bond. The USGA has approved of this method for making the FAZ-FIT and other connector systems conforming under the Rules of Golf.
